A woman from Spain was allegedly gang-raped in Jharkhand's Dumka district, sparking outrage and prompting swift action from local authorities. The incident occurred at Kurumahat in Hansdiha police station area, where the tourist couple had set up camp for the night during their journey from Bangladesh to Nepal via Bihar.
Superintendent of Police Pitamber Singh Kherwar personally visited the site, initiating an investigation with forensic teams on-site. Three arrests have been made, with efforts underway to apprehend the remaining suspects, as Deputy Inspector General Sanjeev Kumar oversees the probe.
